What is RaumaWlan?

RaumaWLAN is an open wireless internet network in Rauma.

The Town of Rauma offers free internet access for residents, students, visitors and people attending the various events in Rauma.  RaumaWLAN works throughout Rauma, thanks to the 14 transmitters placed around the town.  You can see the locations and coverage of the transmitters by clicking on the link to the right.

In order to access the RaumaWLAN network, users need a username and password, which are valid for 24 hours.  Usernames and passwords can be obtained from council offices and businesses around the town.  These locations can be found on the map by clicking on the link to the right.  Businesses offering usernames and passwords can also be identified by RaumaWLAN stickers in the window or door of their premises.
